IntegrityNext uses AI to create greater transparency and more efficient compliance in the supply chain

Munich, September 10, 2024 - IntegrityNext, provider of software solutions for sustainable supply chains, presents its vision for the future at its first corporate conference Xplore 2024. With a strong focus on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI), IntegrityNext is setting new standards for transparency and sustainability in global supply chains, further exploiting the great potential of its global supplier network and helping companies to effectively comply with increasingly stringent sustainability regulations.

With the Supply Chain Duty of Care Act (LkSG) and the introduction of the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the EU Regulation on Combating Deforestation (EUDR) and the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), the regulatory pressure on companies is growing enormously. IntegrityNext meets these challenges with state-of-the-art technology and has set up its own team to drive forward the development and integration of innovative AI-supported applications.

At the Xplore conference, Martin Berr-Sorokin, CEO of IntegrityNext, will provide key insights into the company's AI strategy. This will be complemented by contributions from Chief Product Officer Till Reiter and Product Manager Lena Wesche, who will report on the latest applications of AI technologies such as Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLM) and Knowledge Graphs. These technologies enable companies to identify hidden risks - such as unethical business practices or environmental violations - at an early stage, even in complex, multi-level supply chains, and to take targeted measures.

AI as a driver of innovation in supply chain management

By using AI, companies can achieve a level of transparency that was previously unattainable. "Our AI-powered solutions go far beyond the automation of routine tasks," explains Simon Jaehnig, Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and co-founder of IntegrityNext. "They enable companies to gain unprecedented insights into their supply chains, which are becoming increasingly essential in the context of growing global sustainability requirements."

The seamless integration of AI technologies such as ML, LLMs and NLP into the existing platform optimizes data-based decision-making processes and closes previous data gaps. IntegrityNext can draw on a comprehensive database of real sustainability information collected directly from suppliers over the years, which has been enriched by additional sources - a clear unique selling point in the market.

Innovative AI-supported functions

IntegrityNext offers a range of innovative, AI-powered solutions specifically tailored to the challenges of supply chain management:

  • Automated supply chain mapping: The AI solution enables comprehensive visualization of every stage of the supply chain, from the finished end product to the raw material. This gives companies detailed insights into the various processes, suppliers and components that are linked to their products. This enables an in-depth analysis of the entire supply chain and promotes more efficient and targeted risk minimization.
  • Multi-tier management: A new AI-powered solution from IntegrityNext enables companies to monitor the lower tiers of their supply chain, which is crucial for minimizing risks such as human rights violations.
  • Data-driven risk management: With the help of one of the largest databases of sustainability information in supply chains, companies can make informed decisions for managing risks. Advanced AI algorithms and validated real-time data help to identify and prioritize risks, take effective action and monitor supplier performance.

Outlook: New AI-supported solutions in the pipeline

IntegrityNext plans to further expand its portfolio in the near future. Within a year, the offering has already been expanded from one to five solutions. Future innovations include a solution to combat forced labor and additional AI-based functions for CO2 measurement. The aim is to equip companies with intelligent tools that prepare them not only for current but also for future regulatory requirements.

Simon Jaehnig summarizes the strategic importance: "With the increased integration of AI into our platform, we are pursuing a vision that combines technological efficiency with social responsibility. Our AI-supported solutions are changing the way global supply chains are managed and helping companies to actively shape a sustainable future."
