How IWB manages ESG risks in the upstream supply chain

Sustainable procurement is one of five pillars of IWB’s sustainability strategy and by 2025 the company aims to be a leading energy supplier in this area. IWB found that two-thirds of the environmental and social impacts of its goods and services occur upstream in the supply chain. The company was therefore looking for a solution to increase transparency and check environmental compatibility and social standards of its suppliers more thoroughly as well as actively manage and improve performance.
