Does IntegrityNext use cookies?

In addition to the above data, IntegrityNext uses technical aids for various functions when using the website, in particular cookies that can be stored on the User's end device. When calling up the IntegrityNext website and at any time thereafter, the User has the choice of generally allowing the setting of cookies or which individual additional functions he or she would like to select. The User can make changes in his browser settings or via the relevant dialog box. Cookies are text files or information in a database that are stored on the User's hard drive and assigned to the browser they are using, so that certain information can flow to the place that sets the cookie. Cookies cannot run programs, but are primarily used to make the website faster and more user-friendly. This website uses the following types of cookies, whose functionality and legal basis we will explain below:

  • Transient cookies: Such cookies, in particular session cookies, are automatically deleted when the browser is closed or when you log out. They contain a so-called session ID. In this way, various requests from the User's browser can be assigned to the joint session and the computer can be recognized when the User returns to the IntegrityNext website.
  • Persistent cookies: These are automatically deleted after a specified period, which varies depending on the cookie. The User can view the cookies that have been set and their runtimes at any time in their browser settings and delete the cookies manually.
  • Other technologies: These functions are not based on cookies, but on similar technical mechanisms such as Flash cookies, HTML5 objects or an analysis of the User's browser settings. The result is also that IntegrityNext can employ the techniques described below. Here, too, the User can of course consent or object.

Mandatory functions that are technically necessary to display the website: The technical structure of the website requires IntegrityNext to use technologies, in particular cookies. Without these techniques, the website cannot be displayed completely and correctly, or the support functions could not be made possible. These are basically transient cookies that are deleted after the end of the User's visit to the website, at the latest when the browser is closed. These cookies cannot be opted out if the User wishes to use the IntegrityNext website. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

Optional cookies when User consent is given: Various cookies are only set by IntegrityNext after the User's consent, which the User can select via the corresponding dialog box when the User first visits the website. The functions are only activated if consent is given and can be used in particular to enable IntegrityNext to analyze and improve visits to the website, to make operation easier for the User via different browsers or end devices or to recognize the User during a visit. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. a GDPR. The revocation of the consent is possible at any time without affecting the admissibility of the processing until the revocation.

The functions used by IntegrityNext, which the User can select as a whole via the relevant dialog box, are as follows:

Conversion tracking with the LinkedIn Insight tag is used on the IntegrityNext website. The LinkedIn Insight tag is a tool of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland ("LinkedIn"). The LinkedIn Insight tag enables IntegrityNext to obtain detailed campaign reports and gain information about website visitors. IntegrityNext uses the LinkedIn Insight tag to track conversions, retarget website visitors, and gain additional information about LinkedIn members viewing IntegrityNext's advertisements.
